I’m a California native who has lived throughout the US, and in the Northeast for 17 years. I've been a writer for most of my adult life, then in 2014, due to happenstance and heartbreak, I started working with found text and ink, and then fell in love with line drawing (and 100-day projects). I teach a little, draw a lot, write some, and do all manner of editing-related work to support my art and writing habits. Currently, I'm a marketing copywriter and editor for the Eileen Fisher Women Together initiative, and do copyediting, proofing, and production work for Princeton Architectural Press.
Laura Didyk's writing has been published in Diagram, Post Road, Alligator Juniper, Fence, Hayden's Ferry Review, The Sun, and other journals. Laura received her MFA in creative writing from the University of Alabama, her BA in the same at Prescott College in Arizona, and has been a resident writing fellow at Yaddo, the MacDowell Colony, and the Virginia Center for Creative Arts. She writes, teaches, and makes art in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
